Process

Payment must be made at time of application submission.  

Candidates who would like to pay for the exam fee by check or money order must submit a paper application along with paper copies of all required documentation in one packet to the AOBFP office by one of the postmark deadlines.  Please note the increased fee with each deadline.

If you are unable to open the fillable pdf in Adobe Acrobat, you may download, print, complete by hand, then scan and upload to the application documentation.

If you  are unable to scan and upload these documents via your computer, you may download and print the required documentation and complete the forms by hand and mail the paperwork to the AOBFP offices.  PLEASE NOTE:  until the AOBFP receives all required documentation, a candidate's application is considered incomplete and therefore will NOT be reviewed for eligibility.  

NOTE:  If your certificate has been in EXPIRED status for 3 or more years, please contact the AOBFP office for instructions by calling 847-640-8477 or emailing  to aobfp@aobfp.org.
